SAMANTHA & JASON | RUMSON WEDDING

Samantha and Jason’s wedding was held on a gorgeous spring afternoon in Samantha’s family’s backyard in Rumson. Her parents are avid gardeners, and despite the heat wave that gripped the East Coast for a few days prior, the gardens were splendid! It was a lovely setting for their warm, intimate nuptials.

Samantha was simply radiant in her strapless lace tea-length gown with coordinating cap-sleeve shrug from David’s Bridal. Her hair was styled by Frederica Zweben of Indulgence Hair Salon, and her very fresh and natural bridal makeup was created by Lisa Sherman-Dow. I just loved that she borrowed her mom’s blue sapphire pendant necklace for her wedding day!

Guaranteed Plants & Florist designed all the elegant florals and filled the bouquets with the most gorgeous pink peonies I have ever seen! The ceremony was enthusiastically performed by Reverend John Monroe of the First Presbyterian Church. After the ceremony the newlyweds and wedding guests gathered for a celebratory dinner at Navesink Country Club and the following morning Samantha and Jason returned to the club with their dearest family members and friends for a  luncheon. They were treated to Arnold Palmer Iced Tees, savory cuisine and a scrumptious wedding cake from Ye Olde Pie Shoppe while enjoying the sounds of Lisa Sherman-Dow and Vance Villastrigo. The guests were sent home with  heart-shaped bird feeder favors that were adorned with personalized ribbons from Wild Birds Unlimited. Congratulations to Samantha and Jason!
