While cruising around the Internet this morning I found a couple more images of mine that were published! Trish and Peter’s wedding was published in Brides New Jersey in the Spring/Summer issue of 2007. The wedding was held at St. Thomas of Villanova Church in Surf City on Long Beach Island and the reception was at Bonnet Island Estate. I was so pleased to have captured such beautiful black and white images of the couple especially when they exited the church and walked through a military honor guard performing a traditional salute because Peter was an attorney in the Army JAGS Corps.

Mazel Tov Yael and Tony! Despite the flooding rains hampering everyone’s arrival to Temple Emanu-El in Closter, New Jersey on Sunday, your wedding day was filled with so much love and so many beautiful Jewish traditions. Brandi and I really enjoyed being there to document all the special moments of your day! Especially, the celebratory dance to see Yael at the Bedekin, the Mitzvah dances during the reception and your first dance to Michael Bublé’s Everything! I must say that I’m especially grateful for the The Wedding Yentas blog for being a fabulous resource!

RUMSON-FAIR HAVEN CLASS OF 2011 SENIOR PORTRAITS

I can’t believe it’s that time of the year already! Where has the summer gone? I’ve decided to run a Senior Portrait Summer Special again because it was so successful last year! The session fee is $75 and includes an online gallery and a complimentary retouched digital image for your personal use for college applications or Facebook.

ENGAGEMENTS | YAEL + TONY: CENTRAL PARK

Yael and Tony’s engagement session in Central Park last evening was so awesome! I loved taking the Sea Streak ferry to the city and was there in record time to meet them at Central Park West and 72nd Street. Unfortunately, poor Tony was stuck in a ton of traffic coming home from work, so we had to shoot very quickly.

I couldn’t believe how packed the park was with tourists! After we passed through Strawberry Fields we made it to their favorite part of the park, the Heart of the Park, Bethesda Terrace. I really wanted to take a romantic image of them on the grass with the lake in the background between the weeping willows, but it was blocked off, so instead of jumping the fence and risking getting in trouble, we chose to go to the Bethesda Fountain with the Angels of the Waters sculpture, as our backdrop. I just adored them because they’re so in love! Their wedding day is going to be so very special!

CELEBRATIONS | MR. C’s 80th BIRTHDAY

Mr. C, also known as, Frank, Dad and Papa, celebrated his 80th birthday surrounded by his beautiful wife of 53 years, his eight children and their spouses, and his 33 grandchildren! The incredibly delicious brunch was held at David Burke’s Fromagerie in Rumson and was lovingly organized and hosted by his oldest son Frank and his wife Laurie.

I ran over to the restaurant before everyone arrived to grab a few detail shots of the flowers, provided by Alan’s Rumson Florist, personalized menus, and the paper and ribbon napkin rings made by his daughter-in-law Laurie. Everything was so pretty! By the time brunch was over the temperature outside reached 97°, so I had to move very quickly to make sure no one melted in the extreme heat and humidity. Luckily there was a little cloud cover and breeze! It was a very special day and I was so happy to meet such a gentle man and capture such wonderful images of his family.

Congratulations Kim and Jim! Brandi and I had a blast capturing your day! You were so much fun especially when we photographed portraits at your favorite landmarks on the Asbury Park Boardwalk! Thankfully, your friend Gary, the limousine driver, not only blocked traffic for us on Ocean Avenue in front of The Stone Pony, but also saved my car from being towed! One of my favorite moments was when Jim serenaded Kim with Bruce Springsteen’s If I Should Fall Behind at the reception at the Eagle Oaks Country Club. Your friends and families were absolutely wonderful! I hope you’re having a fabulous honeymoon!

Lauren and Zachary’s wedding took place at the breathtaking Mallard Island Yacht Club. I was so excited to be at this dream destination! While I was in the stunning bridal suite with Lauren, her mom, sister and all the bridesmaids and flower girls (they’re were 8 flower girls), Brandi Grooms, of Brandi Grooms Photography, captured the most amazing and beautiful details of the estate! I just loved Lauren, Zachary and their families!

I know it’s a little early to be thinking of the holidays, but I came across these incredibly unique holiday ornament cards and just had to share! The designs are lovely and have a timeless beauty to them and can also be used for birth announcements, save the date cards, wedding favors or any other special occasion. They’re 5 x 5 round double-sided with completely customizable colors and coordinating ribbons. I can’t wait to get my samples!

I was so excited to see Amy and Morgan’s wedding published in New Jersey Bride in the fall of 2008 as one of their favorite New Jersey weddings! Alexandra Passage, of Alexandra Passage | Photographer, and I had so much fun capturing this casual and elegant wedding which was held at Holy Cross Church, Rumson. Darryn Murphy, of Darryn Murphy Designs, and her staff created fabulous bouquets and boutonnieres. The centerpieces at Seabright Beach Club were simply stunning!
