Paint the Town Pink 2012

Louise Conover Photographer is tickled PINK that her hometown of Rumson, a.k.a. Pinkson, is one of five new towns participating in Riverview Medical Center’s Paint the Town Pink! The annual event merges breast cancer prevention, detection and treatment campaign with a fundraising component that raises funds to provide free screenings through the Pink Fund, at the Women’s Center at Riverview, for uninsured and underserved women in the community.

As a Pinkson Pink Partner I will be offering special limited mini photography sessions during the event and if you visit my Pinkson neighbor, Bain’s Outdoor Living, you’ll have the opportunity to win a portrait beach session! Most importantly, remember that early detection is a woman’s best defense against breast cancer, so if you haven’t already, please schedule your mammography!

My 2012 wedding season began with an intimate and sweet wedding at Natirar in Peapack, NJ. Tricia and Joe were beaming from the moment we saw them at The Bernards Inn which made for an amazing first wedding of the year. Ryan Struck, an awesome surfing photographer, assisted me in capturing these lovely and wonderful moments.

I had the best time on Thursday evening with Tricia and Joe for their engagement session on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. The gusty southwest winds were a bit of a challenge for us, but we were able to tuck ourselves into a cozy spot which allowed me to capture some beautiful portraits! More to come soon!
